- Sevilla Other Full-time Call for contracts (4 years) for the incorporation of top researchers with leadership skills, into research centers in Andalusia ( ).
The Instituto de Bioquímica Vegetal y Fotosíntesis (IBVF, ) studies phototrophic organisms including cyanobacteria, algae, and plants.
Research at IBVF focusses on regulation of gene expression, development, and adaptation of phototrophic organisms to environmental cues; also, on biotechnological aims such as improvement of photosynthesis efficiency and bio-production of compounds of industrial interest.
Research is performed with a wide variety of biochemical, molecular and cell biology, genetics, and omics methodologies for which IBVF is a well-equipped center with excellent growth facilities and scientific services for metabolomics, proteomics, microscopic and electrophysiological analyses.
We are seeking potential candidates with good expertise in these research areas to apply for contracts of the EMERGIA program.
Successful candidates are expected to start an independent group for which the IBVF will provide well-equipped laboratory space and initial financial support.
